1 man killed, 1 injured after shots fired near Rowan, officials say – NBC10 Philadelphia

Investigators in Glassboro are investigating after a man was killed and another injured in shooting near Rowan University in New Jersey on Friday.

The incident occurred in the 100 block of Academy Road in Glassboro, about a mile from Rowan University.

University officials confirmed that their police officers assisted Glassboro officers at the scene.

Skyforce10 was over the crime scene Friday afternoon, where police surrounded a home with crime tape while an ambulance was parked nearby.

While the police investigated and took photos, the house was surrounded by patrol cars.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing. Officials say there is no threat to the public at this time.
