$1,755 December SSI Direct Pay Raise Helps With Holiday Expense – Live in the 33 states that give bonuses?

AMERICANS in 33 states enjoy an extra boost when it comes to certain Social Security benefits, and that will come in handy this holiday season.
Eligible recipients should have received a payment by December 1st and can expect another before the end of the month.
If you receive additional security income payments, the first of the month, paid on the first day of December, should have parsed to the tune of $841.
While the next payment would normally start on New Year’s Day, this year it falls on a Sunday, making December 30 the new payment date, as it is customary for the Social Security Administration (SSA) to choose the nearest business day to push out dividends.
Payments from then on will reflect the $914 per payment for 2023.
Thanks to December’s double payment, some Americans get $1,755.

SSI payments apply to Americans 65 years of age or older and disabled or blind children or adults.
While any eligible person can apply to receive SSI, payment amounts will vary.
