2024 will be the last election “to be decided by ballots, not bullets” if Trump loses court cases

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R) said Wednesday that 2024 will be the last election “to be decided by ballots, not bullets,” if former President Trump lost the race due to his various legal disputes presidency does not win.
In the latest episode from his Show on TBNHuckabee argued that the legal troubles Trump is now facing are part of a politically motivated plan by the Biden administration, an argument made by many close to the former president.
“If these tactics result in Trump not winning or even running in 2024, it will be the last American election decided by ballots, not bullets,” Huckabee warned in his opening monologue.
Huckabee accused President Biden and his team of trying to “make sure Donald Trump is not his opponent in 2024” and “destroying Trump in the courthouse, not at the ballot box.” He also claimed that the Justice Department, IRS, and FBI “conspired to cover up the crimes of the Biden family while obsessing over indicting Donald Trump for crimes.”
As Trump campaigns for the White House in 2024 — after losing his re-election to Biden in 2020 — he has faced multiple federal and state charges in courts across the country.
The former president now faces charges related to attempts to overturn the 2020 election results and his handling of classified documents, following two Justice Department investigations. In Manhattan, he faces charges in connection with hush money payments to adult film actress Stormy Daniels in 2016. And in Georgia, he was charged with efforts to overturn the state’s 2020 election results.
Although Polls have revealed The various legal battles actually gave Trump a boost in the GOP primaries. some have argued they should be disqualifying.
Huckabee, who ran unsuccessfully for the Republican presidential nomination in 2008 and 2016, went on to praise Trump, who has long been the top Republican candidate in polls.
“I know there are about a dozen other Republican candidates who want to be nominated for the GOP next year, and most of them took to the stage last week to audition for the post. But when you watch something that was more of a game show than a substantive debate, you realize that none of it has the seriousness of Donald Trump,” Huckabee said.
Trump did not participate in the Republican National Committee’s first presidential debate last month.
