THOUSANDS of Americans are eligible for a $1,500 Bonus Check just in time for Christmas.
Arkansas teachers are eligible for the giant check after the state provided direct payments to support those who have been working during the Covid pandemic.
All experienced teachers in the Fort Smith Public School District (FSPS) are eligible to receive the one-time check — including adult education teachers, classroom teachers, instructional specialists, interventionists, and special education coordinators.
There are a total of 26 schools in Fort Smith with 1,033 teachers who could qualify.
Teachers should expect payments on December 15, 2022.
