The Pseudo Vampire Movie Martin was George A. Romero’s personal favorite of all the films he had made – and now Second Sight Films has brought the film to 4K UHD! Copies can be pre-ordered directly from second look if you are in the UK but the company cannot ship outside of the UK and Ireland. In the US, you can pre-order the release Zavvi or diabolical. 4K UHD discs are region free, but the accompanying Blu-ray discs are region B bound.
Written and directed by Romero, Martin has the following summary:
Young Martin is firmly convinced that he is an 84-year-old blood-sucking vampire. Without fangs or mystical powers, Martin injects tranquilizers into women and drinks their blood through razor-bladed wounds. After moving to Braddock, Pennsylvania to live with his superstitious uncle, who also believes Martin is a vampire, Martin tries to exclusively hunt criminals and thugs, but stumbles when he falls in love with a housewife.
The film stars John Amplas, Lincoln Maazel, Christine Forrest, Elayne Nadeau and Tom Savini, with Romero himself as the priest.
The Second Sight 4K UHD version of Martin has these features:

Martin is one of my all-time favorite films, so I’m really excited that it’s getting this kind of release. I don’t have 4K UHD skills myself, but I’m hoping this will sell well with movie fans that do. Will you pick up a copy of Martin on 4K UHD? Let us know by leaving a comment below.
