An unidentified object measuring up to 80 feet long has unearthed itself in the sands of Daytona Beach in Florida.

Some believe these are the remains of an ancient shipwreck, while others claim it must be the result of NASCAR races that took place at the time.

Hurricanes Ian and Nicole caused massive erosion on the Florida beach, resulting in the exposure of this giant mysterious object.

“This erosion is unprecedented at this time. We haven’t seen this type of erosion in a very long time,” Volusia County Beach Safety Tamra Malphurs told WKMG Orlando.

“I’ve been at the beach for probably 25 years and this is the first time I’ve seen it exposed.”

One said: “Too straight and narrow for a boat [in my opinion]. I think it’s an old dock or boardwalk,” they commented under a Click Orlando article.

Meanwhile, a Facebooker said: “I saw that a few days ago. It’s probably an old ship that was shipwrecked. Very interesting.”
