Adani Ports subsidiary establishes spoked silo complex erection unit

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone has established a subsidiary that develops and operates silo facilities at specific locations in the country.
Founded by Adani ports‘ step down daughter, Adani Agri Logisticsthe new company called HM Agri Logistics was formed with an initial capital of ₹5 lakhs.
According to an IPO, HM Agri was established with the purpose of developing, designing, building, financing, procuring, constructing, operating and silo complexes without container depots on a design, operation, build, finance, own and operate basis to wait in public, private partnership mode.

In October last year, Adani Agri Logistics received a letter of intent from the Food Society of India To build silos in Kanpur, Gonda and Sandila in Uttar Pradesh and Katihar in Bihar.
It was part of the government’s effort to modernize the country’s agricultural storage infrastructure and create a total silo storage capacity of 3.5 lakh tons. This would increase Adani Ports total silo storage capacity to over 15 lakh tons.
Silo complexes, which are mechanized and automated units equipped with temperature and humidity controls, are built to handle, store and preserve grain.
