The centerpiece sphere shows a fairly detailed world map, but not one you’ll want to use to actually identify where countries are. Finally, it doesn’t actually rotate up and down, but it rotates. All you have to do is slide your finger slightly near the bottom edge and watch it spin.

How do you ask? Simple: A pair of strong magnets hold the globe in the center of the mount so it can literally levitate. There are LED lights inside the curve that add another flair to the whole thing.
