Andhra Pradesh: Global Investors Summit 2023 in Vizag starting today

The Government of Andhra Pradesh is here today at its Global Investors Summit 2023 to showcase its rich resources, maritime infrastructure and other assets.

While Prime Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will chair the State Government Conference, Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari (Roads and Highways) and G Kishan Reddy (Culture) will also be present.

The list of industry captains attending the event, being organized here on the Andhra University campus, includes Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and CEO of Reliance Industries; Karan Adani, CEO, Adani Ports; K Satish Reddy, Chairman, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories; GM Rao, Chairman of the GMR Group; KM Birla, Chairman, Aditya Birla Group; Krishna Ella, Executive Chairman, Bharat Biotech; BVR Mohan Reddy, Founder Chairman, Cyient; and, inter alia, N. Srinivasan, VC & MD, India Cements.

In addition, representatives from 25 countries, 30 global business leaders and 46 diplomats will attend the summit, which will include four country sessions and one special session to highlight 15 priority sectors for investment.

Aside from business-to-business and business-to-government-to-business meetings, a special attraction will be the AP Pavilion, which demonstrates the strength of the state, which has the highest GSDP growth in the world at 11.43 percent Country had 2021-22.

It has also been consistently ranked number one in the Easy of Doing Business category for the past three years. The port city planned by the state government as the new capital of Andhra Pradesh was spruced up for the conference with a particular focus on highlighting the state’s culture.
