There is a lot of content to consume 90 Day Fiancé Universe. The original show follows couples who have received K-1 visas, which are only available to engaged partners of U.S. citizens. The other way is exactly what it sounds like – American couples moving to their partner’s home country. “It’s about love” 90 Day Fiancé Executive producer Matt Sharp said Gold Derby in May 2022 when asked what makes the TLC reality TV series so popular. “Love is primal, but I think we used a few things. For one thing, this show is incredibly authentic. I am a big lover of The bachelor and this franchise, however, we were one of the first shows to actually tell real stories about ordinary Americans and their journeys of love. Also, this show is about this journey with other cultures. When we started this show in 2014, we were at the “love frontier” of this whole new era where we find people all over the world.”

He continued: “This is the most diverse show on television,” claimed Sharp. “You can challenge me on that. Here we have introduced people from 51 countries. We have subtitles. We have people who don’t speak the same language and have completely different cultures. Are Holly and Wayne still together? 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way?

Status: Still together.

Holly is a fairytale-obsessed hairdresser from Utah. Wayne is an entrepreneur who owns his own plumbing business in Johannesburg. They met on a Jehovah’s Witnesses dating site. Friends and family worry about her safety in South Africa, but Holly thinks the chance to finally find her Prince Charming is worth the risk of moving into a house that has already been broken into three times. Her mother isn’t so sure and comes over to see for herself.

“When I get to South Africa, I’m going to marry Wayne in a week,” Holly said in the season five premiere. “I know it’s happening very quickly, but we’re really ready. And we wait until we’re married to have sex, and that’s why we look forward to it.” Meanwhile, Holly’s mother plans to move to South Africa to take Wayne’s place in his bed next to his fiancé to avoid the temptation to which they could possibly have, to stop them by taking hasty action.

“I need to get to know him, but I’m very worried about your safety,” Holly’s mother said as they went downstairs. “That is one of the biggest worries I have. And there are good reasons for that. Since your home was broken into, it’s very worrying and I don’t know what to expect.”

The two have yet to confirm whether they are still together, but were spotted on each other’s Instagram posts in July 2023.
