After months of separation, Ariana Grande and her real estate agent Dalton Gomez reportedly filed for divorce at the same time on Monday. Their papers list the date of separation as February 20, 2023.
Grande and Gomez married in 2021, a year and a half later TMZ spied them making out in a bar. (As a luxury real estate agent, he’s more likely to be close to celebrities than a celebrity himself, which may explain why the outlet called him a “rando.”) In July, Grande attended Wimbledon without her wedding ring, leading to speculation that she and Gomez had broke up, followed shortly afterwards by rumors that she had had an affair with her Evil Co-star Ethan Slater. Slater also filed for divorce from his wife Lilly Jay, adding fuel to the fire.
Now, after two years of marriage, Gomez and Grande are officially on the divorce papers stage. They cited “irreconcilable differences” in their filings, and TMZ claims that the divorce is expected to be minimally messy. I hope so.
