Ashley Tisdale swaps ‘Mom’ derbies for ‘business’ loafers – Footwear News

Ashley Tisdale proved this week that there are two sides to every story — especially when it comes to fashion.

On Tuesday, Tisdale snapped two mirror selfies in a new Instagram post before stepping out in Los Angeles. The Frenshe founder’s clothes featured what the actress herself called a “mother look vs. business look”. Tisdale’s chic “Mom” outfit consisted of a white Re/Done t-shirt layered under an ivory $425 Jenni Kayne cardigan.

The star’s ensemble was completed with blue jeans from Slvrlake, layered gold necklaces and a black Jodie woven handbag from Bottega Veneta — plus a chunky set of Miu Miu’s $1,150 derby shoes with white leather uppers and chunky soles.

In terms of shoes, Tisdale’s ‘Business’ outfit featured a similar shoe in a more formal silhouette. The actress paired Proenza Schouler’s $895 white cleated leather oxford loafers – classy topped with large buckled straps – with black Acne Studios trousers and a matching sweater. Layered on top for a luxe finish was Khaite’s $1,490 collared Flinn jacket in dark brown corduroy and a Chanel envelope handbag in deep red snakeskin.

This isn’t Tisdale’s only hot fashion moment this week. The Phineas & Ferb star wore Jenni Kayne brown lace-up boots with a beige sweater, leggings and a cream dôen shearling coat in a mirror selfie on Instagram on Sunday.

Tisdale’s personal style is bohemian and relaxed. The ‘Suite Life of Zack & Cody’ actress often wears edgy heels and sandals on the red carpet, hailing from top brands like Christian Louboutin and Stuart Weitzman, as well as affordable labels like Steve Madden and Jessica Simpson. Off-duty, Tisdale’s footwear ranges from chic to edgy, including Chanel flats, Miu Miu boots and Prada loafers. Her casual style also includes sporty sneakers from Adidas, APL and Balenciaga.
