FLORIDA (WSVN) – Brightline has officially announced the launch of its service at Orlando International Airport, scheduled to begin September 22, 2023.

The latest expansion will connect Orlando and South Florida, including popular destinations such as Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and West Palm Beach.

Brightline President Patrick Goddard expressed his excitement about the expansion Press release On Wednesday.

“Opening Orlando fulfills our ultimate business model,” he said. “We have seen incredible enthusiasm from the business and tourism industries eager to travel between Central and South Florida. As we begin flying to Orlando during peak holiday periods, I encourage everyone to check the calendar, make plans, visit our website or app and reserve a seat now.”

Inaugural trips can now be booked via the Brightline website at gobrightline.com or by downloading the Brightline app on iOS and Android devices.

To celebrate the launch, Brightline is offering limited-time one-way SMART fares starting at $79 for adults and $39 for children. Groups of four or more passengers automatically receive an additional 25% discount on SMART fares.

The SMART service offers a comfortable business class experience with hand-stitched leather seats, free Starlink WiFi, multiple power and USB ports, and a wide selection of food and beverages available for purchase during the trip.

For those seeking a more luxurious travel experience, PREMIUM single fares start at $149. PREMIUM class offers an expanded journey with exclusive amenities including access to a dedicated PREMIUM lounge, priority boarding, bag drop service, and complimentary snacks and drinks throughout the journey.

Brightline has also introduced various special promotions tailored to specific customer groups.

Business travelers can use “Brightline for Business”, a special portal that offers rides at fixed prices tailored to the needs of business travel.

Starting this fall, students with eligible email domains can receive up to 25% off SMART plans after creating a Brightline account using their active college or university email addresses. Travel advisors can also sign up for discounted fare information. Brightline plans to introduce commission-based fares in the near future to make it more convenient for travel professionals to book their clients’ trips.

Brightline wants to be bookable via Global Distribution Systems (GDS) by the end of 2023, thereby further expanding accessibility for travelers and travel agencies.
