British “Pajama Killer” pensioner Penny Jackson stabbed her husband David Jackson (78) to death over a TV remote control

A British woman, Penny Jackson, 66, stabbed her 24-year-old husband David, 78, three times in the stomach after an argument broke out over a TV remote control and boiled eggs after a meal to mark her birthday during the pandemic, according to New TV show revealed.
The fatal blow struck David Jackson in the heart and came after he dialed 999 while emergency responders listened. When the police arrived, they found his wife’s handwritten confession.
The shocking information can be seen in the new crime series Faking It, available on channel Discovery+.
Jackson became known as the “pajama killer” when she poked fun at investigators for being arrested in her Marks & Spencer bedding.
The sad tone of a 999 call reveals Jackson telling the attendant she stabbed her husband, adding, “With any luck, he’ll bleed to death in the kitchen.”

When asked if her victim was around, the murderous pensioner replied, “Well, I could just go back and stab him.”
The police officer immediately told her, “Don’t stab him again.”
Jackson asked the operator why she shouldn’t stab her husband again, before announcing that she was sane: “I’m compos mentis,” she said.
“I’m in the living room and he’s bleeding to death in the kitchen.”
When asked how many times she stabbed her husband, Jackson said, “The one time I did it, and then he said I wouldn’t do it again, so I did it twice more.”
Jackson’s arrest
“Well, once I thought I’d win his heart. Well, he doesn’t have one, and then twice more in his stomach.”
Additional clips from the documentary show Jackson being rearrested for murder, to which the killer replied, “Oh good!” and “I’m very sorry I was a nuisance.”
After a test for Covid-19 had her temperature taken, she asked an officer, “Do you have my slippers?”
During the trial, the former financial accountant told Bristol Crown Court she had lost control after decades of abuse.
The convicted killer, who was married three times before meeting Mr Jackson, claimed David forcefully controlled her, including preventing her from seeing friends and dictating how she used the TV remote.
But Bristol Crown Court heard she repeatedly refused to help Mr Jackson when the emergency services worker asked her to put pressure on the wound or throw him a towel to try to stop the bleeding.
She was convicted of murder and in October 2021 was sentenced to life in prison with a minimum sentence of 18 years.
