Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Found Cameron Monaghan in the role of Cal Kestis, a former Jedi Padawan who becomes a target for the Empire and is hunted by the Imperial Inquisitorius as he attempts to complete his training, reconcile his troubled past and the fallen Jedi Order rebuild. A new gameplay trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was released during Thursday’s Game Awards, and Cameron Monaghan spoke Weekly entertainment about the upcoming sequel and whether or not it might make the jump to live-action war of stars Universe.
Cameron Monaghan told EW there are plans for one Star Wars Jedi Continue right after you finish the first game. “We have always strived to do more‘ Monaghan said. “So after we finished the first one I had spoken to a few people over the following months. We had a wrap party and we chatted a bit – like, “What would we want to do if we did a second one?” It all just depended on how the reaction was and how we did it. But it felt like everyone was preparing from the start hoping we could do more. We also had many wonderful people join the team on the second [game], from the cast perspective, but also behind the scenes. Everything was built on top of the first one and I’d say it’s an overall improvement.“Monaghan is a big one war of stars fan, so being part of the franchise means a lot to him.
It is wonderful. I grew up loving war of stars as a child. I mean, I guess everyone did, right? You’d go to the movies and talk to friends, “What do you think they’re going to do next week? Where do you think they are going?” New exciting facets of this universe have always been introduced, and now we can see this being explored through many forms of mediums. There’s some really cool stuff being done on Disney+, and it’s not just one of the coolest things to happen on Disney+ war of starsbut one of the coolest things happening on TV right now.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order introduced several elements that would come into play in the live-action series, most notably Fortress Inquisitorius, which appeared in the Obi Wan Kenobi Series. Since Cal Kestis’ character model looks identical to Cameron Monaghan in-game, there have been rumors that the actor could also play the role in live-action. “i love this character. They are beginning to explore it through other mediums – we have a novel in the pipeline,‘ Monaghan said. “It’s been really amazing to do that in the video game space because I think games are way under-explored and under-used and it’s only at this moment that they’re really contributing — people look at games and they see that they’re amazing, moving and are significant. My priority right now is to make sure we have a satisfying arc in games. What is happening or where war of stars no one can imagine wanting to go from there, but I can say that I love Cal and it has been a pleasure finding him over the past few years. We will see.“
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be released on PC, PS5 and XBox SeriesX/S March 17, 2023.
