The New York Jets were one quarterback away from being a contender last season. Well, that quarterback is finally here and he has an almost impossible first task: beat Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills.

Then again, there’s hardly anything difficult for new Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers. He has already won a Super Bowl and defeated a number of difficult opponents over the course of his long career. If anyone can lead the Jets past the Bills in the AFC East, Rodgers is a good choice.

But it would be foolish to doubt the bills. At times last season they seemed like the team of destiny. That’s what’s going to happen when you have Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs. After losing to the Cincinnati Bengals in the divisional round last year, Buffalo may be more motivated than ever to prove their worth in the conference.
