Capacity utilization at 10-year high
The quarterly Order Book, Inventory and Capacity Utilization Survey (OBICUS), which includes 752 manufacturing companies and was conducted by RBI in the fourth quarter of 2022-23, shows that capacity utilization is at a multi-year high. However, year-over-year backlog growth slowed compared to previous quarters as inventories built.
