Car with rear window covered with duct tape being stopped by cops before driver makes bizarre claim

Stunned cops stopped a battered car on the freeway that was partially held together with duct tape, but the driver claimed he was on his way to SELL it.
The black BMW, which had no license plate and no insurance, was being driven on a highway in Ontario, Canada, when it was spotted by police.
The Ontario Provincial Police Highway Safety Division tweeted two images of the wrecked car on its official Twitter account after stopping the vehicle.
The rear window was covered in black tape and had numerous dents and damage in other areas.
Cops said the driver, a 27-year-old man from Brampton on the outskirts of Toronto, told them he was on his way to sell the car.
However, during the investigation, officers continued to charge him with not having insurance, being exposed while driving and six other traffic violations.
The force tweeted, “‘But officer, I’m selling my car.’ Male driver 27 from Brampton. Pulled over by #MissisaugaOPP ALPR (camera vehicle). other HTA offenses.”
A number of Twitter users were stunned by the overall interaction.
“My question is who is buying this car lol,” wrote one user.
“Junkyard,” replied another.
But another user added, “Scrapyard might close its doors on this guy.”
“Who buys a Scrapper?” asked another.
“He had ‘pull me over’ written on his forehead!” said a third. “Of course we see a lot of cars out there taped in different ways but we’ve never seen black tape on the rear window lol. They never stop amazing.”
“Honestly curious what the inside looks like,” said one user.
“Does mate know there are times when owning a BMW is NOT prestigious?” another joked.
It comes just weeks after police officers stopped a motorist using a game console as a steering wheel.
The yellow vehicle had been stopped for a vehicle inspection in suburban Brisbane, Australia, when officers made the bizarre find.
As they approached the vehicle, they noticed that the driver was using a gaming device – presumably from a racing game – instead of a normal steering wheel.

They also determined that the driver’s wheel alignment was off-center and that he was wearing illegal air horns.
Corresponding 9Newsthe driver was warned several times for driving a dangerous and defective vehicle.
