“I have to say that my door is completely closed to a vote for Donald Trump,” Hutchinson said. “And the only reason I won’t support any candidate right now is because I’m still hoping that Donald Trump isn’t the nominee next year. I think our country as a whole will be much better off.”
“But what I also want to say is that I think everyone should vote for Joe Biden if they want our democracy to survive,” she added.

Hutchinson has been critical of Trump since his time in office. She testified before the House committee on January 6 last year about the former president’s actions in connection with the insurrection at the US Capitol, drawing rebukes and attacks from Trump and his supporters.
She has since published a memoir which includes: damning allegations about Trump and her experiences working for him.
In September, she told CNN’s Jake Tapper She believes Trump is “the greatest threat to our democracy in our lifetime and possibly in American history.”
Despite 91 felony counts on four charges, Trump is miles ahead of his competitors in the polls for the Republican presidential nomination.
