A vehicle was set on fire in an arson attack in south Belfast in the early hours of Monday morning.
Police are appealing for information about the incident in the Bentham Drive area.
A PSNI spokesman said they received a report at around 4.35am that the rear window of a black Chevrolet Captiva parked in the area had been smashed before an accelerator was thrown into it.
The vehicle was then set on fire and significantly damaged.
The vehicle’s tires were also reportedly slashed during the incident.
A PSNI spokesman said: “Investigations into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing and police would contact anyone with information about the incident. She is asked to contact them on 101 quoting reference number 222 of 30/10/23.”
“Alternatively, tips can be passed on anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
