City councilors will vote today to lower MSD sewer rate increases

ST. LOUIS – Another committee is considering a resolution opposing a major increase in MSD sewer rates.

MSD wants to increase tariffs by 32% over the next four years, but a minority report from its own tariff commission suggested only a 24% increase.

The resolution presented to city councilors would support the 24% increase.
