Danny Masterson will be constantly monitored behind bars… just in case he shows signs of psychological distress after being sentenced to 30 years in prison.
The “That ’70s Show” star is in prison awaiting transfer to a California state prison where he will serve his 30-year sentence for rape.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … Danny is under 24-hour video surveillance and every 30 minutes officers come into his cell phone to check on him … with the goal of keeping an eye on his mental state and ensuring that he is safe.
Should Danny show any signs of mental distress or tell his team or a representative about a mental health issue, we will be advised that he will be taken for a Mental Health Assessment (STAT).
Danny certainly has a lot on his mind. As we reported, he was sentenced on Thursday 30 years in prison after being convicted of two counts of rape.
Shawn HolleyDanny’s lawyer tells TMZ … the actor is mentally strong and is confident his conviction will be overturned on appeal, based on his meetings with several top appellate lawyers.
