Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves premiered at SXSW on Friday, and early reviews are praising the characters, creatures, action, and even the humor. Remarkably, even some of the reviews say so honor among thieves may not just be for fans of the RPG, but has the potential to reach even those who have never spent an entire night in a dingy, Mountain Dew-soaked basement.

It is co-written and co-directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, who played a little D&D freaks and geeks.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves comes to the cinemas March 31.
