Donkey imposter who is rumored to be Banshees from Inisherin star Jenny crashes the Oscars

Donkey Jenny lives on! Type of.

The Banshees by Inisherin The breakout star made a seemingly surprise appearance on stage at 2023 oscars if show host Jimmy Kimmel trotted out a four-legged cutie during Sunday night’s TV show – but EW has confirmed the donkey on the show wasn’t the same one used in the film.

Kimmel released “Jenny” after a clip package emphasizing that Martin McDonagh-Nomination for Best Film by Directed Film.

“This is Jenny, one of the stars of Banshees by Inisherin. Jenny isn’t just an actress, she’s a certified emotional support donkey — at least we told the airline to put her on the plane from Ireland,” Kimmel joked. If you’re not winning, or you’re scared, or maybe you just love mules, feel free to come up to her and give her a hug.”

He then showed them to the co-stars Colin Farell And Brendan Gleeson — the latter of which Kimmel introduced Jenny as the man “whose finger you ate.”

In the 2022 film, Jenny, Farrell’s Pádraic’s beloved pet, meets her untimely end after choking on one of Colm’s (Gleeson) fingers, which was severed amid the couple’s bitter rift that serves as the film’s pivotal story.
