And the TikTok user went to the supermarket to buy a bigger trash can and some velcro for the hack.

In the video, she attaches the trash can to the floor of the car with Velcro.

With this hack, the passengers would stop throwing the trash on the ground.

She captioned the video: “The car can still get messy, but that will be delayed by a few days”.

The TikTok user said: “The garbage situation in my car is starting to annoy me.

“I have this tiny little trash can right here, and it basically fits two water bottles.

She said her trash cans were small and the floor got too dirty as a result.

“When it’s full, the floor becomes a trash can and I don’t want that anymore.

“I’m getting a full size trash can and some velcro – let’s use industrial force to make sure it stays upright.

“Also, I can’t hang garbage bags on the back seats.

“I have three car seats here and I don’t think my little guys sitting in the corner want junk on their laps.

“Remove the old trash can and climb the new one here.

“This will be so much better than using my floor and passengers still have plenty of legroom.

“It’s a velcro strap on the side and we can take it off if we need to empty it.”
