Anticipation of the upcoming G20 summit has raised concerns for many about access to essential services during the event. For those still seeking clarity on the matter, Delhi Police have provided reassuring information.
On Tuesday, Delhi Police confirmed that the entire city will remain accessible during the G20 summit, except for part of the area under the jurisdiction of the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC).
In various posts on the microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter), the police clarified that essential services such as dairy parlors and hospitals in the New Delhi area continue to operate.
“All of Delhi remains open. Restrictions only apply to a small part of the NDMC area… It is important to emphasize that restrictions only apply to a limited part of the NDMC area. Please ignore all rumours,” Delhi Police said.
