Festivals are happening in the Philly area this fall – NBC10 Philadelphia

Summer is almost over, but that doesn’t mean the fun is over. Here’s a guide to some of the top festivals happening in the Philadelphia area this fall.
The Delaware River Festival
The Delaware River Festival is fun for everyone and returns. This event features free family-friendly fun on the Philadelphia and Camden boardwalks. Riverlink Ferry rides are available throughout the day for visitors to enjoy both Penns Landing and Wiggins Park. Activities include pedal boat rides, face painting, scavenger hunts and more.
When: Saturday 9 September from 10am to 4pm
Where: The festival takes place along Penn’s Landing, Philadelphia and Wiggins Park, Camden.
Doylestown Arts Festival
The Doylestown Arts Festival returns this year for a weekend of fun. Enjoy a selection from over 150 independent artists showcasing their work, multiple live music stages and activities for all ages. Participation in this festival is free.
When: Saturday September 9th to Sunday September 10th from 10am to 5pm

Fair of the Barrio
Celebrate Latino culture at Fair of the Barrio. This festival includes music, dance, delicious food, crafts and more.
When: Sunday 10 September from 1pm to 5pm.
Where: This event takes place along N. 5th Street between Huntingdon and Somerset St. in Philadelphia.
OctoBEARfest
The Philadelphia Zoo OctoBEARfest is back. This adults-only event includes Oktoberfest beers on tap, pretzel-eating competitions, and live performances by local DJs. You can purchase tickets for this event Here.

The Autumn Wine Festival
The popular rooftop bar Sunset Social is hosting the autumn wine festival. With light snacks, guests can enjoy “autumn-oriented” wines from five suppliers. Tickets are available for this event Here.

Philadelphia Fall Arts Fest
Enjoy live performances and fun activities at Philadelphia Fall Arts Fest 2023. This free event will feature arts and cultural organizations from the area and will feature a special performance by the Philadelphia Orchestra.

South Philly Sausage Festival
Visit the South Philly Susafe Fest this autumn. Enjoy food, beer, music, craft vendors and flea market vendors.

Fishtown FestivalALE
The Fishtown FestivalALE is all about good food and great drinks. All types of local food are featured at this event including burgers, brisket, Bavarian pretzels and of course cocktails and beer. In addition, visitors can visit over 50 local art and retail vendors.

Downingtown Autumn Festival
The Downingtown Autumn Festival is back this year to bring thousands of people together to celebrate all things autumn. Expect plenty of food, fun crafts, and entertainment.
When: Sunday 24 September from 11am to 4pm rain or shine.
Where: The festival takes place along Green St. and East Pennsylvania Ave. in the Borough of Downingtown, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
Philadelphia All-Star Craft Beer, Wine and Cocktail Festival
The Philadelphia All Star Craft Beer, Wine and Cocktail Music Festival returns to Citizens Bank Park for the fifth consecutive year. This event was voted one of the top ten beer festivals in the world by USA Today. Guests will enjoy live entertainment, games, giveaways and unlimited tastings of over 250 craft beer, wine and cocktail options. Tickets can be purchased Here.

West Craft Fest

Midtown Village Fall Festival
The annual Midtown Village Fall Festival is back this year. This free event attracts thousands of visitors who want to enjoy all the fall events. Activities include live entertainment, food and drink tastings, crafts, and children’s activities.

Philly Wine Fest

Chestnut Hill Fall for the Arts Festival
The Chestnut Hill Fall for the Arts Festival is back and this year the free event will feature over 200 artists, crafters and decorative arts vendors. Visitors can also experience live music and dining at Chestnut Hill’s finest restaurants. Children can have fun with games and handicrafts.

Oktoberfest
