Fire breaks out at De Anza Country Club

BORREGO SPRINGS, Calif. – Firefighters battled a fire at the De Anza Country Club in Borrego Springs early Monday.

When crews arrived on the scene, about three-quarters of the building was engulfed in heavy flames, Cal Fire San Diego said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

As of 6 a.m., no injuries were reported and the flames had not spread to other buildings or bushes.

More than 60 firefighters were deployed to extinguish the fire.
