‘Fired Moderators Club’ – Former RTE Late Late Show Ryan Tubridy meets Piers Morgan in London

The English broadcaster posted a picture of the couple on Twitter with the caption:

“The Dismissed Moderators Club! Great to see Ireland’s biggest TV star, Ryan Tubridy, in London today and I can’t wait to see what he does next.

“RTE’s loss will definitely be someone else’s gain,” Piers wrote.

Ryan has posted a series of short videos on his social media showing him at the Shake Shack burger joint in Covent Garden.

“So easy. So uncomplicated. So delicious. Not available in Ireland,” Ryan wrote while devouring a cheese burger with pickle, lettuce, fries and coke.

The Dubliner also posted from a bookstore.

“Daunt Books… The prettiest bookshop in London,” he said as he wore sunglasses and a blue shirt outside the shop.

Ryan also filmed himself outside the Tintin Store, a department store dedicated entirely to the famous literary figure.

“How come you don’t want to come in here? Another hidden gem in London,” said Mr Tubridy. He also pointed out that it was a balmy 24 degrees in the English capital.

Ryan left RTE after CEO Kevin Bakhurst was unhappy with the wording of Tubridy’s statement welcoming the results of a second financial report by Grant Thornton.

Ryan then wrote on Instagram alongside a video of the sea: “A new dawn, a new day, a new beginning”.
