Former adult film actress arrested in second DUI accident after hit-and-run in 2021 involving a parson cyclist – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports

PLANTATION, FLA. (WSVN) – A former adult film star has been arrested. According to police, it was the second time in two and a half years that she was involved in an accident in South Florida while driving under the influence of alcohol.

Katherine Colabella appeared in court in Broward County earlier this week.

“Of course there is also a violation of the probation conditions, namely detention without bail,” said the presiding judge.

She is on probation for a hit and run on the MacArthur Causeway in March 2021 in which Pastor Noe Aguilar was fatally injured, police say.

At the time, Colabella was removed from the scene of the accident due to aggravated assault and reckless driving.

However, she escaped jail and her house arrest sentence was commuted.

But on Sunday morning, according to police, Colabella got into further legal trouble when she was involved in another crash, this time along Cypress Road in Plantation.

According to the police report, Colabella “was driving a black Mercedes-Benz [when she] struck from behind a vehicle stopped at a red light on West Broward Boulevard and Northwest 70th Avenue. The Mercedes-Benz fled the area north on Northwest 70th Avenue.”

Eventually, officers stopped Colabella, and according to the police report, she had “bloodshot, watery eyes and the odor commonly associated with alcoholic beverages coming out of her mouth as she cried and spoke.”

Moments later, she was arrested for drunk driving, driving with a suspended license, and violating probation.

“Oh, that’s the one from Dade County,” the judge said at her most recent bail hearing.

In 2021, according to police, Colabella rammed her Mercedes in Aguilar and drove away, leaving the injured victim on the causeway.

“We just hit the brakes. We just said, “Holy.” [expletive]! There’s a person!’” said a Good Samaritan.

At the time, 7News broke reports of Colabella’s first arrest and received exclusive body camera footage of the moments after her crime.

She tried to leave her broken-down car with a valet at the swanky Continuum condominium in South Beach. Miami Beach police officers then took her to jail.

Her most recent run-in with the law included a failed sobriety test, during which, according to the police report, she said to an officer, “‘I can do whatever you want.’ Jumping jacks … you want.” [expletive] toe touch? I can do anything.”

Colabella is currently in the Broward County Jail but is expected to be transferred to Miami-Dade County where she faces a probation violation charge. She will likely face the same judge who presided over her case in 2021.
