Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is out with a non-contact injury and will be replaced by Tommy DeVito

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones’ return from injury didn’t last long before he suffered another injury.
Jones dropped back to pass in the second quarter against the Las Vegas Raiders when he simply fell. He slowly stood up and then knelt so the coaches could come onto the field and look at him. Jones had been fired in the previous play.
Tommy DeVito came into the game for the Giants after Jones went down. Tyrod Taylor was placed on injured reserve this week due to an injury. DeVito remained in the game on the next series. Jones went back to the locker room, although he went there under his own power.
Jones returned to the lineup after missing three games with a neck injury. The Giants signed Jones to a four-year, $160 million contract last offseason despite some injuries. So far this season they have suffered inconsistent performances and multiple injuries due to their investment.
