An iconic photo of Michael Jordan serves an upcoming Air Jordan 1 that will be released soon.

Product images have surfaced of the Air Jordan 1 High “Skyline”, a reissue of Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe, set to launch before the end of the month.

This latest Air Jordan 1 High ‘Skyline’ colorway is reportedly inspired by a photo of NBA legend Michael Jordan, taken ahead of the 1984 Olympics, of him striking the iconic ‘jumpman’ pose while gazing at the skyline of Chicago appears in the background.

The Air Jordan 1 High “Skyline” features a white-based leather upper offset by colored gradient overlay panels that fade from pink on the forefoot to purple on the heel, referencing the photo of the NBA legend and backdrop of the Direct Chicago Skyline. The bold color scheme is broken up by signature Swoosh branding in black, while black hits also appear on the ankle collar and laces. The look of the shoe is rounded off by a white midsole and a black rubber outsole.

According to Sneaker Leak social media account @zSneakerheadz on Instagram, the Air Jordan 1 High “Skyline” will be released on March 18, 2023 via SNKRS and at select Jordan-branded retailers. At the time of publication, release details for the style from Michael Jordan’s eponymous brand are yet to be announced.

In related Air Jordan news, the classic Air Jordan 3 “White Cement” returns to stores on March 11th.
