I hit the Walmart “jackpot” by finding a $149 toy for only $17 – it wasn’t marked and it makes the perfect Christmas present

A WALMART shopper found a toy for her child at a discount of more than $100, proving how important it is to always double-check the price to maximize your savings.
Finding items with clearance stickers is often the way to go if you’re looking to save money.
At Walmart, they’re often colored yellow and can save shoppers up to 90 percent.
However, sometimes you come across an item that you really want to buy – but the price makes it prohibitively expensive.
But it could cost significantly less if you check the price of the product yourself.
This happened to Walmart bargain hunter stopping by bargain shopwithteeyaj on tik tok.

What do you have to do
In a recent Videoshe found a Disney Gourmet Smart Kitchen set that was under a $149 display.
While this was on her daughter’s Christmas gift list, this price could be high for just one item.
However, Teeyaj decided to try her luck with the Walmart app scanner and see if it came out cheaper.
And it ended up costing only $17.
She calls this a “jackpot” find because this item wasn’t even tagged in the store.
This is called “hidden sharing”.
So if you happen to come across an item at Walmart that you want to buy but it’s not marked, it’s worth using the app before looking for an alternative.
And as always, offers and prices vary by location.
But other kitchen sets listed at Walmart can only to sell for only $64 online.
Other clearance finds
There are many examples of influencers using the scanning trick to get big discounts.
Lately, trades with nat2 found a lot of three-cent finds from shoes to clothes at Walmart.
But Teeyaj found an even better deal, scoring $69 chairs for just a dime.
Separately, another example comes out synthiasaveswho found a $179 item at Walmart for just $17 while other listings were reduced to just 75 cents.
But things get even wilder, as one of their biggest wins was an $897 outdoor item for a staggering $5 in a clearance sale.
It is therefore always worthwhile to find out about the actual prices yourself.
For more related stories, a shopper with a “grocery card” received $200 worth of groceries for just $3.

An $8 Amazon item can save $512 on your energy bill.
And a mother of four switched where she bought meat and halved her bill.
