She recently went to her local Dollar Tree and found a variety of items perfect for the holiday season.

However, some were clearer must buys than others. Here were some of the articles to check out.

1. Christmas bags

First she told her viewers:

“Dollar Tree is the place to go to get Christmas bags to wrap presents,” the influencer shared.

Not only do they have Christmas tree and Santa themed bags for every gift size, PeachyyMaddi has also discovered a red Christmas themed wine bottle bag to bring as a gift to any Christmas party.

2. Interior Signs

Dollar Tree also offers a whole collection of indoor signs that are appropriate for the holiday season.

These include posters that say “Merry Christmas,” “Hope,” and “Ho Ho Ho.”

3. Outdoor Signs

Santas, snowmen and elves also feature in full in the outside signage, but PeachyyMaddi had a warning for shoppers.

“The outside signs don’t stand up to the weather,” she claimed.

However, some decorations, like a tall candy cane decoration, would stand up to any wintry mix coming onto your lawn.

4. Christmas bows

Holiday ribbons are also available at your local Dollar Tree in a variety of options: red, green, purple, plaid, and more.

“I love these velvet ones, and they have them in minis,” said PeachyyMaddi.

Whatever gift you choose to bring this Christmas morning, you’ll be covered in a decorative flare.

Items to avoid

However, according to PeachyyMaddi, not all of Dollar Tree’s products are designed to impress.

In the pet department, the TikToker found a small ball of rope that she claimed “feels like a choking hazard.”

A small, soft, green bone chew toy “looks like I could pop the seam with my acrylic nail,” PeachyyMaddi said.

The stitching was already unraveling, so PeachyyMaddi especially warned others to stay away.

There were still a few products to love in the pet department, including toss balls designed to keep your dog happy and healthy.

Dollar Tree is also the place to be if you’re looking to do some do-it-yourself projects this year, whether for yourself or as gifts.

The bargain dealer offers consumables like tape and brushes at great prices, in addition to containers, mugs and jars that could be an important part of the project itself.

PeachyyMaddi just warned, “You know, the superglue isn’t that strong.”

The TikToker also had some thoughts on the various spray bottles offered at the store.

She said she loves the smaller, clear glass bottles and prefers the larger, white ones because she says they tend to fall apart.

PeachyyMaddi has also found a new collection of spray bottles in store but hasn’t been able to share them just yet if she thought they were worth it.

Most Dollar Tree items are $1.25, but select items can go up to $5 depending on the store.

Also, styles and choices vary by location.

How to save in stores

In addition to shopping at bargain stores like Dollar Tree, there are a variety of other ways to save money when you come to the store.

Most retailers have loyalty apps that give members exclusive access to deals, discounts, and digital coupons.

Another way to save at grocery stores in general is to use third-party apps like Rakuten and Ibotta.

Overall, couponing could save an average household $1,465 a year, according to a study by CouponFollow.
