Keeping a can of de-icer handy is another simple tip for quickly improving visibility.
Given that a can is just £2, there’s no excuse not to have one handy in the boot in winter.
He also says investing in winter tire inflator is another good idea, as low temperatures can reduce tire pressure.
You can buy one online for around £19, which plugs into your 12 volt socket.
Under-inflated tires cause the engine to work harder due to increased rolling resistance.
Under-inflated tires can also affect your car’s steering and handling – not a good thing on snow and ice.
And so that you don’t get stranded, you should always have a portable jump starter for your battery in the vehicle, especially in winter.
These portable packs are available online for around £50 and can easily be hidden out of sight.
TikTok users have commented on the video and most are grateful for his shared tips.
One user said: “The information you have shared is very useful.”
Another: “Thanks, I will buy all the products you said.”
