India vs. Australia 2nd ODI: India with 117 points; Aussie bowlers Starc, Abott and Ellis wreak havoc

India vs. Australia 2nd ODI: India managed to score 100 points as the famous batting side failed on Sunday’s 2nd ODI against the Australian pacer’s attack. Australian pacesetters shot out the top order from India as Mitchell Starc eliminated Rohit Sharma and SuryaKumar Yadav with a golden duck on back-to-back balls. Whilst also sending Shubman Gill and KL Rahul back into the pavilion within 10 overs of the game. India is currently at 103/8 (24.4).
Virat Kohli, who fought a one-on-one match against the Australian team, was also sent back in 15th place by Nathan Ellis. Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel are on the brink of achieving a satisfactory result against Australia.
Previously, Australia had won the draw and qualified for the first bowl in the second ODI of the three-match series at the Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium decided here on Sunday.
After winning the toss, Smith said fast bowler Nathan Ellis was coming in for Glenn Maxwell, who he says “got a little sore” while Alex Carey is back to be wicketkeeper-batter for Australia in place of Josh Inglis.
“Another surface that’s been obscured for a while might make a difference. Only a partnership through the middle would have helped us. It’s good for us to play on these surfaces,” he said.
Rohit said Ishan Kishan is out with him in the XI, while left-turning all-rounder Axar Patel replaces seam bowling all-rounder Shardul Thakur.
India are currently leading the three-game streak 1-0 after a win in Mumbai.
Play XI’s:
India: Shubman Gill, Rohit Sharma (Captain), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, KL Rahul (Wicketkeeper), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami
Australia: Travis Head, Mitchell Marsh, Steven Smith (c), Marnus Labuschagne, Alex Carey (wk), Cameron Green, Marcus Stoinis, Sean Abbott, Mitchell Starc, Nathan Ellis and Adam Zampa
