Influencer Charleen Murphy was left “uncomfortable” after an incident in Dublin

The podcaster, who is dating Lincoln City midfielder Dano Mandroiu, commented on the “disgusting” incident on Instagram, explaining that she was filming social media content when two men interrupted what she was doing.

On Sunday she told her followers: “I can’t get along with some men. I was in town about an hour ago photographing an outfit and I was standing outside across from a restaurant taking a photo and there were two men sitting outside.

“They called me and kept whistling. I didn’t know it was about me at first, so I looked around and it was – they were staring and laughing and stuff.

“I decided to ignore it and just keep shooting, and they just kept going.

“Then they got their car keys – their car was next to mine, I didn’t know it at the time, but they got their car keys and started locking and unlocking their car so it kept blinking.”

She further said that she didn’t want to let them get away with her behavior.

“It was annoying…so I thought, ‘Next time they call me, I’ll go up to them and say something.’

“They did it, my blood was boiling at this point, it just makes me so angry. I just find it disgusting and it just makes me sick.

“I walked up to her and asked, ‘Do you know this really makes girls uncomfortable, can you stop it?’

“They just said, ‘Oh, we just thought you were pretty’.”

Charleen decided to inform the restaurant staff that the men were outside and that they were making her uncomfortable, but she was told “they do that all the time.”

“By the way, these were men around 30/40 years old; they should know better. They did it again and again,” complained the podcaster.

“The blood boiled inside me, I don’t know what was going through my head. I didn’t say anything to them but went straight to the restaurant.

“I don’t know what I think they would do, but I just wanted to let them know that they were sitting outside their restaurant.

“[The restaurant staff] said, “They’re regulars, they do this all the time.”

“What’s wrong with some men? If anyone watching this thinks that whistling will ever get you a woman – no,” she added, ending her rant.
