Sexy Irish model Shahira Barry is celebrating finally getting her green card after living in America for almost a decade.
And she’s also thrilled that she has a new man in her life.
“I think the biggest news I have at the moment is that I’ve finally got my green card,” says Galway beauty Shahira (32). Sunday world.
“The Green Card will make life a lot easier because with my previous 0-1 visa I could only work in the entertainment industry and even then some of the big studios wouldn’t accept the 0-1.
Shahira has lived in Los Angeles for almost 10 years
“So there are no restrictions on the jobs I can take. With a green card, the world is my oyster.”
Shahira is enjoying life in the US lately.
“I was just at a big Halloween party last Saturday hosted by the Unruly agency – there were a lot of celebrities,” she reveals. “Tyga performed and we went to a house party in the mountains afterwards. I love Halloween! It was much fun. I dressed up as Britney Spears!”
The beauty also revealed that she had fallen in love.
“I met someone last year, we are super happy – he is coming to Ireland with me for Christmas,” beams the former teacher, who is now a model, actress and fashion shop owner.
“I’m looking forward to showing him where I’m from and taking him to some Irish pubs.
“I’m looking forward to the Christmas market. Galway is very magical over the holidays.”

She adds: “I’ve been living in LA for nine years now and I have no idea where the time has gone. I still love it as much as I did in the beginning.
“But in recent years my mother became ill in Ireland, so living so far from home in those circumstances was very challenging.”
Shahira, owner of online fashion brand Prettyboutique.com, is also an ambassador for Fashion Nova.
The Irish-Bangladeshi beauty lives near the beach in Los Angeles and admits life there has been tough during lockdown.
She previously spoke about her journey with adult content platform OnlyFans.
Shahira joined the site during lockdown but quit the gig after it cost her “a few chances”.
