ISW analyzes the consequences of the Ukrainian attack on the Russian warship in Kerch

Details: Analysts have pointed out that the Ukrainian attack on the Russian shipyard in Kerch on November 4 resulted in significant damage to the warship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

ISW reported that since June 2023, Ukrainian armed forces have been conducting a campaign to destroy Russian military infrastructure in occupied Crimea, primarily Russian Black Sea Fleet facilities, in order to reduce the Russians’ ability to use Crimea as a bridgehead and retreat for Russian operations in the south of Ukraine.
