Ivanka Trump takes family outing in red maxi dress and ballet flats – Footwear News

As speculation mounted this week that former President Donald Trump could soon be impeached in New York, Ivanka Trump was on vacation in Israel.

The former senior presidential adviser and her family shared their experience on Instagram in a slideshow of pictures.

In the photos, Trump can be seen praying at the Western Wall in the Old City of Jerusalem. The caption for the post reads, “Sunrise prayers at the Western Wall 🇮🇱♥️.”

On her feet she wore a pair of black and white ballet flats. Trump’s silhouette featured a round toe in black with white midsections resting on a thin square heel. Both toes featured triangular detailing. Ballerinas as a women’s shoe style emerged in the 1950s and soon established themselves as a comfortable medium between pumps and sneakers. The feminine and functional shoes are back in fashion and caused a sensation in the autumn 23 collections.

Trumps Shoe style typically moves in the eclectic route, with a range of solid color pointed-toe pumps from brands like Manolo Blahnik. Off duty, she can also be seen in flats, thong and wedge sandals by Gianvito Rossi, Tkees and Aquazzura. Her casual shoes also include sneakers from APL, Mizuno and New balance. After leaving Washington, DC in January 2021, Trump and her family started living in Miami. The former shoe, apparel and accessories designer left the country’s capital after her father President Donald Trump left office.
