Jessica Chastain dons Peter Pan jumpsuit and heels for ‘A Doll’s House’ – Footwear News

Jessica Chastain made her Broadway comeback last night at the Hudson Theater in New York City with the opening of “A Doll’s House.” She did this by wearing a fashionable outfit.

The Oscar-winning actress slipped into a black velvet jumpsuit with a Peter Pan collar. The neckline was embellished with pearls which provided the perfect contrast to the rest of the look and the pearlescent silk cuffs pulled it all together like a dream.

Chastain’s lively curls were tucked behind her ear, leaving room for her bold makeup to shine bright with red lipstick centered.

Chastain’s shoes were tucked in due to the hem of her pants, but she paired the outfit with sky-high heels that elevated her look by at least 4 inches.

When it comes to her personal shoe style, the ‘Molly’s Game’ actress tends towards classic styles. In recent months, she’s sported styles like pointy heels and strappy sandals from brands like Burberry, Christian Louboutin, and more. She often wears pumps with crystal and embroidery embellishments or, in this case, metallic hues.

Since making her name on the fashion scene, she has often collaborated with celebrity stylist Elizabeth Stewart. Chastain and Stewart collaborated to create the actress’ various red carpet looks for her press release of The Good Nurse, including an ivory Carolina Herrera mini dress that was worn with black strappy heels to the film’s New York screening.

A Doll’s House stars Oscar-winning actress Jessica Chastain as Nora Helmer in Jamie Lloyd’s radical reimagining of Henrik Ibsen’s seminal drama, in a new version directed by Amy Herzog. The show opened on March 9th and runs through June 10th.
