Joe Jonas files for divorce from Sophie Turner!
It really happened. Joe Jonas filed for divorce Sophie Turner after four years of marriage. Uff. End of an era.
Accordingly TMZ on Tuesday the Jonas Brothers The crooner filed his legal documents in Florida with the help of tom sasserwho took care of it Tiger Woods‘ Divorce. Keep in mind that the couple lived in Miami for a time before selling their mansion there earlier this summer. The singer has apparently been looking for a divorce lawyer for at least a week – so he’s taking it seriously!
The 34-year-old is applying for joint custody of their three-year-old daughter Willa and a 1-year-old daughter, whose name has not been released. Sources with direct knowledge of the sad situation confirm that they also have a marriage. Hope this doesn’t get too messy! But…
Considering Joe has reportedly been taking care of the kids “pretty much all the time” for the past three months, insiders think it’s likely he could be asking for well over 50% custody. But since Sophie wants to raise her children in England, it could be a struggle!

While this doesn’t come as a shock given recent reports, it’s certainly a disappointment! Rumors have been circulating that the couple have had “serious problems” in their relationship over the past six months – although it was only last week that the world realized something was amiss as Joe didn’t wear his wedding ring that often. However, he started wearing it more publicly when the rumors caused mass confusion!
So what the hell happened?!
While TMZ I have yet to report what Joe cited as the reason for the split, a source with direct knowledge claimed:
“She likes to party, he likes to stay at home. They have very different lifestyles.”

Could this really be the reason for the split between them after all this time?! They first got together in 2016. Surely they would have figured that out before their 2019 wedding, right? Maybe with their age difference (the game of Thrones alum is only 27), wasn’t that an obvious problem until recently? Whatever the case, it’s amazing how quickly things have changed! Check out how they were all made love just three weeks ago!
Just so, so sad – especially for the kids. But most importantly, they have two healthy, HAPPY parents. And if they must be separated to reach this place, then so be it.
