Joe Manganiello gets big new tattoo after Sofia Vergara divorce — but what does it mean?

Joe Manganiello enter this new stage of life as a single and tattoo!

The 46-year-old actor appears to have a huge new tattoo on his forearm. On Tuesday his tattoo artist Ruben Malayanshowed the Magic Mike Star body art Instagram. But what did Joe get? He paid tribute to his Armenian heritage and had the word “angel” written in the language in bold calligraphy. Ruben wrote in the caption:

“My latest work, greatest work (Angel) yet for @joemanganiello who will surely wear it with pride! Thank you: @rubenmalayan #armeniancalligraphy and thank you @serjtankian for making the connection!”

Nothing beats a post-breakup tattoo, right? But I wonder why he decided to take on the Armenian word for “angel”. Maybe to honor him great grandmother? Or something else?

As you know, this new piece of art on his arm comes a month after news of his divorce Sofia Vergara Broke. The former couple said in a statement about the split at the time:

“We made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people who love and care for each other deeply, we politely ask for respect for our privacy at this new stage in our lives.”

Though neither Sofia nor Joe have shared more about the sudden decision to split, sources have come forward to give fans a glimpse of the ending of their marriage, with kids and more. So sad.
