Just 48 hours until million days before Christmas get a direct payment worth up to $4,194 – see if you get the money

MILLIONS of struggling Americans will receive up to $4,194 in direct payments in just 48 hours.
The first monthly Social Security checks go out to retirees on December 14 — just days before Christmas.
Payments go to Americans whose birthday is between the 1st and 10th of the month.
A maximum of $4,194 in Social Security benefits will also be distributed on December 21-28.
A total of around 70 million people receive social insurance
Americans who choose to wait until age 70 before applying for Social Security can receive the maximum payment.

Average monthly performance is $1,657 – a $92 increase from last year.
For couples, it’s up $154 from $2,599 to $2,753.
However, the monthly amount for 2023 will increase from January in accordance with the inflation adjustment.
The COLA was increased by 8.7 percent earlier this year.
It was the largest increase since 1981, when COLA was 11.2 percent.
It is designed to keep pace with inflation and is calculated using data from the Consumer Price Index for city wage earners and office workers, which measures changes in the cost of goods and services.
This means that $144 is added to the average benefit, giving citizens an extra boost.
Kilolo Kijakazi, the acting commissioner of the Social Security Administration, said that the rise in achievements will give seniors “more peace of mind and room to breathe.”
But a survey conducted by the Colorful fool found that 55 percent of Americans polled said the COLA increase was not enough.
Some retirees receive less social security contributions depending on where they live.
It affects seniors in Colorado, Connecticut, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, and West Virginia.
While many low-income applicants are exempt from state taxes, the tax can still put a dent in the checks of middle- and upper-income individuals.
American seniors who retire outside the United States continue to receive the benefits, but people in countries like Cuba, North Korea, Moldova and Tajikistan are barred from earning the payments.

The Sun has revealed when the Social Security payments will be made in 2023.
And millions of Americans will pocket up to $914 worth of increased Supplemental Security Income (SSI) starting Dec. 30.
