Kai Cenat surpasses Ludwig with all-time Twitch subscription record

STREAMER Kai Cenat has become the Twitch video star with the most subscribers of all time after taking the top spot from Ludwig.

The 21-year-old managed to garner a whopping 300,000 subscribers on the platform.

He’s been pushing to break the record since he launched a subscription drive in early February.

The influencer even streamed himself sleep.

Fans have paid between $5 and $25 to subscribe to the New York-born internet sensation.

“It’s legendary,” he said when a live count broke the record on Tuesday.

“It was the hardest thing in my life and I’m glad I made it. We made it.

“Whatever you want to do, you can do it.”

The previous sub-record was held by Ludwig Ahgren, who amassed more than 283,000 subscriptions back in 2021.

Cenat rose to fame on YouTube and even starred in a music video for rapper Lil Uzi Vert.

But he’s best known for Grand Theft Auto V live streams.

He was discovered by fellow fanum and joined the streaming group Any Means Possible (AMP) in 2020.

The group is known for prank and challenge videos, as well as gaming streams.

Kai lives with the other members of the group in their content house in Atlanta, Georgia.

Just two years after joining the group, he won Streamer of the Year and was nominated for Breakout Streamer of the Year at the Streamy Awards.

In October, he dethroned xQc as the most subscribed streamer on Twitch with more than 80,000 (despite not being the most followed).

In response to the news, Laura Lee, Twitch’s chief content officer, said Bloomberg It’s “exciting to see Kai and his community making waves and being seen. We are excited to see what they will create together next.”
