I always click on a Celebrity GRWM because I love getting a glimpse into their everyday beauty routines. My last watch was Beauty Secrets by Kate Hudson Video with Fashion, and I couldn’t help but hit pause at some point. I didn’t recognize the mascara she applied, and honestly, neither did Kate.

“This is actually a product that I have no idea what it is, but it was sent to me. I like how black it is,” says the actress Video. “It’s called Petite ‘n Pretty and it’s called Fully feathered volumeand honestly, that’s exactly what it feels like.”

Kate’s comment made me immediately Google this product. My very first and most interesting takeaway is that this mascara is intended for kids, tweens and teens. No wonder she didn’t know the product! It’s also only $18 Amazon And Ulta.

But maybe Kate is on the trail. If a mascara is safe enough for children, it will easily pass the test for adults too. This special formula is free of nuts, gluten, phthalates and parabens. It is also vegan, cruelty-free and approved by pediatricians, ophthalmologists and dermatologists. This certainly meets many very important criteria!

Not only is the mascara designed for young children who want to experiment with makeup, but the brand says it also provides “instant thickness and definition.” It features a quick-drying formula that curls and separates lashes to give you the feathery lashes of your dreams. Be sure to apply additional coats to create even more volume.

And do you know that sometimes it’s difficult to get into the nooks and crannies of your lashes? Not with this brush! The hourglass-shaped applicator of this mascara is specifically sized to fit children’s eyes better than any other regular mascara. This is a great hack for those who want a more precise application.

You may not have clicked on this story to read about a mascara for teenagers, but for Kate it’s clearly the one. In the YouTube video, her eyelashes look noticeably fuller, thicker, longer and stronger after applying the Fully Feathered Volumizing Mascara.

Another five-star shopper wrote: “Excellent mascara choice for adults, not just teens or tweens. The formula is really gentle and doesn’t irritate the eyes. The lashes are given fullness, making them look fuller without clumping. A few strokes of this mascara after curling your lashes and then a quick flick of a mascara comb/spoolie will give you lashes that look natural and full.” They add, “This version is not waterproof, but it stays put too “Good for oily lids.” There is hardly any flaking or smudging throughout the day, even when I inevitably rub one of my eyes. The price is a few dollars higher than comparable mascara such as L’Oréal eyelash paradise, but it’s just as good. I also prefer the smaller brush included with this mascara as it allows me to get right to the roots and corners.”
