Kevin Costner’s Lawyer Calls Christine’s Bill ‘Downright Ridiculous’

Kevin Costner I’m not paying for all of this!

If you’ve been keeping up with that Yellowstone Actor’s Divorce News, You Will Know His Soon To Be Ex-Wife Christine Baumgartner is after a pretty penny from her estranged husband – to say the least. She’s already lost her bid for HUGE child support payments, but now it seems like she’s trying to supplement that fee elsewhere – through expert fees and attorney fees!

According to multiple media outlets, Christine wants Kevin to pay a “whopping” $885,000 for her legal fees… on top of what he’s already spent. But his lawyer doesn’t believe it.

On Monday, the man of Steel Star’s lawyer Parima Pandkhou filed a response to the motion in the Superior Court of California, calling it “unreasonable” and “downright ridiculous.” She argued:

“When the numbers are so large, it’s easy to lose track of the actual value of those numbers. To demonstrate the practical value of Christine’s requested award: $885,000 pays for 1,106 hours of attorney time at a rate of $800 per hour.”

Oops! When you break it down like that, it sounds pretty wild…

Responding to Christine’s argument that Kevin spent more on legal fees and therefore she should be awarded more, Parima added that this was entirely due to her own decisions:

“The amount incurred by Kevin cannot be the benchmark for how much compensation should be awarded to Christine. This is because Kevin was forced to pay significant legal fees as a result of Christine’s uncooperative behavior.”

Damned! It seems like Christine is reeling…especially after she was made to pay part of it Kevin’s Legal fees! And once again, this all seems to be a question of fairness. she – and she defines that as She deserves to be as rich as him. So far the judges don’t agree!
