La Mesa Accident: Pedestrian Killed on I-8

LA MESA, Calif. – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on Interstate 8 in La Mesa Tuesday morning, authorities said.

According to California Highway Patrol records, the accident occurred around 8:33 a.m. on eastbound I-8, located west of Spring St.

According to the California Department of Transportation, authorities closed one of the lanes for two hours due to the collision.
