Liam Payne has been hospitalized with a serious kidney infection

Liam PayneHe is struggling with a serious health issue that he would not wish on his worst enemy and is causing him to have to cancel his upcoming tour.

The One Direction singer broke the news to fans on Friday, saying: “It is with a heavy heart that I have to tell you that we have no choice but to postpone my upcoming tour of South America.”

He continues: “For the past week I’ve been in the hospital with a serious kidney infection that I wouldn’t wish on anyone and the doctors are telling me now to rest and recover.”

Liam says he feels so sorry for the fans who bought tickets and he and his team are working to find a time to reschedule the dates… but for now they are issuing refunds.
