Loki season 2 takes you through time and space in the new trailer

Tom Hiddleston returns as the god of mischief, while now he succumbs to someone else’s mischief while being dragged around through time and space.

The god of mischief has returned. Only this time, mischief is thrust upon him. And he returns and returns and returns again as Loki is dragged through time at random intervals beyond his control. Marvel Studios has explored the more cosmic parts and psychedelic concepts of their universe after concluding the Infinity Saga with phases 4 and 5. Loki Season 2 continues the theme of multiverse hopping and Kang the Conqueror, or He Who Stays seems to be pulling the strings. Disney+ just released the new trailer to continue its successful first season. The show is scheduled to air later in the fall.

Accordingly deadlineSeason 2 of Loki will pick up “following the shocking season finale when Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority. Along with Mobius, Hunter B-15 and a team of new and returning characters, Loki navigates an expanding and increasingly dangerous multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes and the truth of what it means to have free will possess and be glorious purpose.”

The post-credits sequence of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania presented a take on Kang the Conqueror, played by Jonathan Majors, who has had an eventful year on both sides of the spectrum, putting on a Tesla-esque show in an early 20th-century setting. The scene seemed to serve as a teaser for this season as it shows how the series is progressing from that moment.

Tom Hiddleston returns in his eighth appearance in the role, counting Marvel’s What if? voice work. He is joined this season by Sophia Di Martino, as well as Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Rafael Casal, Tara Strong, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, Neil Ellice, as well as Jonathan Majors, Ke Huy Quan and Owen Wilson.

Eric Martin is the lead writer for the Marvel Studio Series, with Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, Dan Deleeuw and Kasra Farahani serving as directors. The show’s executive producers include Kevin Feige, Stephen Broussard, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Kevin R. Wright, Tom Hiddleston, Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead, Eric Martin and Michael Waldron.

Loki Season 2 premieres on Disney+ on October 6th.
